In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void. And the Leviathan was upon the face of the deep: the darkness that doth corrupt all life and desireth to obliterate all light…
Methuselah 3:1

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the deep and fought back the darkness of the Leviathan. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness…
Methuselah 3:2

And God made the firmament. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the light from the darkness, that they might ward off the darkness of the Leviathan and give light unto the earth: and it was so…
Methuselah 3:3

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to prevent the darkness of the Leviathan from taking its desired hold upon the earth…
Methuselah 3:4

And God knew that His time was limited, so God created man in his own image after the manner of flesh; male and female created he them. He didst infuse part of His divinity into man that His legacy might live on in another form…
Methuselah 5:7

When the Leviathan discovered divinity within man, it became desirous to subdue them: for no creature had ever been endowed with such power or glory. But God blessed the earth insomuch that the Leviathan was unable to penetrate the firmament…
Methuselah 5:8

And God blessed man, and God said unto them, I have fortified this world against the influence of the Leviathan. Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over every living thing that moveth upon it…
Methuselah 6:17

And God commanded man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thine bodies shalt surely be corrupted with blood and death…
Methuselah 6:18

Before God had created man, he created certain Malakhim; an intellectual race of beings with glorified flesh and bone, who didst serve as His angels. After God hath created man, the Morning Stars of the Malakhim sang together with joy…
Methuselah 8:1

When the Leviathan saw this, he was wroth because of his displacement. From that day forth the Leviathan didst fight against God by using his powers of darkness to influence many of God’s Malakhim to disobey…
Methuselah 8:2

Among the Morning Stars of heaven, a certain Malakh succumbed to the influence of the Leviathan and rebelled against God. There was a war in heaven: the Malakhim of Lucifer fought, and prevailed not; and didst lose their place in heaven…
Methuselah 8:3

And Lucifer was cast out, called the Devil, and Satan, which doth deceive the whole world: he was cast out into the Earth, and his fallen Malakhim were cast out with him. They were thrust down from the presence of God, and were called the Watchers…
Methuselah 8:4

And all the Malakhim of heaven wept: Lo, he is fallen! Is fallen, even a Morning Star! And this Satan follows the direction of that great darkness, the greatest of God’s enemies – the Leviathan, and doth continually make war with the Malakhim of God…
Methuselah 8:5

And Lucifer didst yield his soul unto the Leviathan to be consumed, and Lucifer became Satan evermore. Satan and his Malakhim didst retreat unto the Earth, cursed forever as Watchers of and not partakers of the glory bestowed upon man…
Methuselah 8:6

And it came to pass that these Watchers began to tempt man insomuch that man might also yield up their souls as fodder for the Leviathan; but when the sons of men had increased, in those days there were born unto them fair and beautiful daughters…
Methuselah 9:1

And the Watchers saw these fair and beautiful daughters of Eve and desired them.  And they said to one another: Come, let us choose for ourselves wives, from the children of men, and let us beget, for ourselves, children…
Methuselah 9:2

And they took wives for themselves from the sons of man. Wherefore, each of their wives became heavy with child; insomuch that they travailed much and didst lay down their lives whilst bearing their children…
Methuselah 9:3

And the Watchers mourned much for the loss of their wives, and didst curse God for their sorrows; for their wives begat Nephilim, a race of large giants. But behold, God was wroth that these Watchers had corrupted the daughters of Eve…
Methuselah 9:4

Amongst the second generation of man were the brothers Cain and Abel. When God rejected Cain’s burnt offering, Cain became very wroth and succumbed to the temptations of the Devil, even Satan, and shed the innocent blood of his brother Abel…
Methuselah 10:1

And God said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? And God said, What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed…
Methuselah 10:2

And Cain was cast out from the presence of God, and was cursed to dwell in the barren land of Nod, to the south of Eden. And Satan didst appear unto Cain and his followers, and put it into their hearts to form secret oaths and covenants…
Methuselah 10:3

And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth. Righteous generations flowed from the loins of Seth, and the people didst establish a great Kingdom to the north after the manner of his name…
Methuselah 10:4

And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare a son; and Cain didst teach his posterity to loathe and despise the people of Seth. And after this manner didst the generations of men begin to populate the earth…
Methuselah 10:5

And the Nephilim didst stir up a great many contentions insomuch that they were continually at war with the armies of men. And God fortified the armies of men, that their boundaries didst remain intact…
Methuselah 10:6

And all the land of earth didst consist of one large mass. The greater kingdom of Seth ruled the north, whilst the lesser kingdom of Cain ruled the south. And it came to pass that the posterity of the kingdom of Seth became a slothful and wicked generation…
Methuselah 10:7

Amongst the seventh generation of Seth was born unto the earth Enoch, who didst become a mighty Prophet. The Leviathan became very desirous to consume the soul of this man Enoch, for his divinity hadst become manifest…
Methuselah 11:1

Enoch and his followers were despised and cast out of the kingdom of Seth. But yet Enoch wast influential insomuch that he established the great city Atlantis in the East where he didst gain many intelligent and inventive followers…
Methuselah 11:2

So great was the faith of Enoch that God didst speak unto him in visions and dreams whilst their enemies came to battle against them; God didst instruct him in the manner of technology that he didst learn how to warp dimensions…
Methuselah 11:3

And it came to pass that Enoch didst instruct his people in the building of a great machine beneath the city; insomuch that he didst also cause his people to erect great obelisks in the lands about…
Methuselah 11:4

And God spoke unto Enoch, saying: the Watchers who have left the High Heaven, and have corrupted themselves with women, shall not have place on Earth, neither peace, nor forgiveness of sin, and will not find joy in their posterity…
Methuselah 11:5

These Watchers shall witness the slaughter of their beloved ones; and over the destruction of their sons, the Nephilim, they will lament and petition forever. But they will have neither mercy nor peace…
Methuselah 11:6

The height of these Nephilim were three thousand cubits, and they didst devour all the toil of men until men were unable to sustain them. And the giants turned against man, and there was much blood shed amongst the inhabitants of Earth…
Methuselah 11:7

Yea, the armies of Seth and Cain didst combine forces to slaughter the Nephilim, for the Earth cried out against the lawless ones. And from that time forth there were continual wars and bloodshed…
Methuselah 11:8

And lo, God had protected the people of Enoch from the Nephilim; Verily, the Kingdoms of Seth and Cain had become wroth of the great blessings of protection that God hath bestowed upon the glorious City of Atlantis…
Methuselah 11:9

And the time didst come when God spoke unto Enoch and commanded him to activate the great machine; and Enoch didst gather his people together whilst a great battle waged against them in the surrounding lands…
Methuselah 11:10

And Enoch obeyed the command of the Lord, and didst activate the great machine. The followers of Enoch and their lands about were taken up into the bosom of the Lord in a glorious pillar of light…
Methuselah 11:11

And the depths of the sea didst swell from the bottomless pit. Verily, thunderous waves didst crash upon the land insomuch that they didst drown both of the wicked armies and the last of the Nephilim…
Methuselah 11:12

And the many waters of the deep didst recede back into the bottomless pit. Verily, many rumors among those whom had survived didst sweep the land: Zion hath fled! The Great City of Atlantis hath sunk!
Methuselah 11:13

The fear of the Lord was upon both the surviving Kingdoms of Seth and of Cain, so great was the glory of the Lord, which was upon his people. But the Lord came and dwelt with his people in the distant world Zion…
Methuselah 11:14

And the Lord blessed the land of Enoch, and they were blessed upon the mountains, and upon the high places, and did flourish. And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind…
Methuselah 11:15

And the Watchers mourned the loss of their children, for God didst say unto them: I shall destroy the sons of the Watchers from amongst men. Yea, they shall destroy themselves in battle; for they will not have length of days…
Methuselah 12:1

And God said unto the Malakhim: Bind the Watchers by their hands and feet, and throw them into the darkness. Yea, split open the desert, which is in Dudael, and throw them into the depths of the Earth…
Methuselah 12:2

And throw the Watchers on jagged and sharp stones, and cover them with darkness. And let them stay there forever. And cover their faces so that they may not see the light. And so that, on the Great Day of Judgment, they may be hurled into the fire…
Methuselah 12:3

Preach ye unto the righteous that they may escape the wrath of God. For verily, the whole earth shall be destroyed. A deluge shall come upon all the earth; and all that is in it shall be destroyed by way of a great flood…
Methuselah 12:4

And God said: Restore the Earth which the Nephilim have ruined. And announce the restoration of the Earth. For I shall restore the Earth so that not all the sons of men shall be destroyed…
Methuselah 12:5

And it came to pass that I, Methuselah, the son of Enoch, returned to Earth, that the covenants of the Lord might be fulfilled, which he made with my father Enoch; that the prophet Noah should be of the fruit of his loins…
Methuselah 13:1

For God didst endow the ancient powers of the Malakhim unto man to create certain Seraphim, who wouldst protect the inhabitants of the Earth from suffering destruction by means of the Leviathan…
Methuselah 13:2

And God instructed these Seraphim to manifest the ancient powers of the Malakhim to protect both the Earth and Zion. Verily, to instruct the people to follow in the straight and narrow paths of righteousness…
Methuselah 13:3

And God gave unto these Seraphim a charge to continually seek the pathways of light. But woe be unto the inhabitants of the Earth should a Seraph be led away by the darkness of the Leviathan…
Methuselah 13:4

And God didst abide with his Malakhim for a time, and then He departed hence. The Malakhim in heaven know not where He doth dwell, but that He shall return on the Great Day of Judgment…
